Our approach
The key article aimed to take readers on a journey through the evolving distribution and use of power. Isometric illustrations lent an architectural feel, grounding the narrative in the design of city infrastructure and highlighting key datapoints that offered insights into energy networks. Three additional animated articles featured bespoke hero illustrations with simpler animations embedded within the text, created in a similar style and colour palette. The make-it-pop colour palette and richly detailed illustrations gave a visually arresting entry into the world of power grids, both in the articles themselves and on the hub page.
